The ComputerCorps
"Every-Home-A-Classroom" TM
TechCamp is
an annual summer program for youth
10-15 years old.
For the past 8 years, this 2-week
program gives kids the opportunity to learn
about computer recycling, testing and assembly while
building a computer system they can take home or give to
a needy family at the end of camp.

opened the "Every-Home-A-Classroom"
TM
Computer
Store and
Distribution Center.
The Carson City, Nevada facility is located at the
ComputerCorps Technology Learning Center (TLC) at 6373
US Hwy 50 East. Store
hours are Tuesday thru
Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Get
a high-speed, low-cost computer for your family, a friend or someone in need.
Complete Onsite Service is available for
businesses and other non-profit organizations.
Training Classes & Programs are available for kids from
the ages of 9 to 90 years old. Volunteers, Teachers and
Donations are Needed.
Proceeds from our “Computer Store” help support
projects that bring the benefits of computer technology
and training to under-served families.

Easy Ways to Get a Computer by Volunteering with
ComputerCorps
A.) Volunteer for 48 Hours -- Get a Computer
System at no monetary cost.
B.) Volunteer for 24 Hours, Donate $50 to help
further the ComputerCorps Mission -- Get a Computer System
C.) Volunteer for 4 Hours, Donate $100 -- Get a
Computer System
It's
a "win-win" situation. By volunteering you help your
community, learn about computers and get a Windows
Internet ready Computer System that includes a Monitor,
Keyboard, Mouse, Soundcard, CD-Rom, and Software.
Volunteer
Hours are Tuesday thru
Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Special
Projects and Virtual Volunteers can be scheduled at other
days and times.

"Every Home A Classroom" TM
(Via Schools)
"Every Home A
Classroom" TM
(via Schools) is
a program administered through the individual schools by which families of school aged children can
qualify for a free computer system. This program
is currently available to all schools in Nevada.
ComputerCorps is in the process of developing programs
with other states and is always seeking new
relationships.
The current
requirements for families (with school aged children)
that want to participant in this program are as follows:
1. There is currently no working computer in the
household.
2. There is a financial need.
3. They have been residents of the community for 6
months.
4. Each member of the family (9 years or older)
that uses the computer must contribute 10 hours of
community service at the school or organization of their
choice..

The MAR License is the
Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher license agreement that needs to be submitted with each "Every Home A Classroom"
applicant before they receive their new computer from
their school counselor.
