"ComputerCorps Grateful for Work Program"
A Letter to the Editor of the Nevada Appeal, published in the Nevada Appeal Sunday, June 14, 1998
To the editor:
On behalf of all of us at ComputerCorps, we wish to extend our debt of gratitude to the Juvenile Probation Department Community Service Work Program. With guidance from their supervisor, Julio Lopes, a crew of nine juvenile offenders worked diligently on the clean-up of the grounds around the ComputerCorps facility this past weekend. With exemplary attitudes, these hard working kids made a difference that was recognized by us all.
ComputerCorps is dedicated to the recycling of second generation computers, giving them new life and making them available at little or no cost to individuals, community groups, and other non-profit organizations that are in need of this equipment. Additionally, with the help of volunteers, we provide training, education, and technical support.
It is ComputerCorps' desire to fill the technovoid that exists in our community.
Sincerely,
Judy Feaster
