PROCLAMATION OF APPRECIATION TO COMPUTERCORPS
Carson City * State of Nevada

   WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä is dedicated to improving the computer skills and job opportunities for individuals m the Carson City community; and

    WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä has been providing computers and training to individuals and community organizations for over four years; and

    WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä has shown a true community spirit with over 500 volunteers and more than 50.000 volunteer hours; and

    WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä  has returned more than 1,5OO computer systems into the community, provided more than 7,O00 hours in training to volunteers and individuals and assisted more than 150 community organizations and schools with computers and training; and

    WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä has kept more titan 5,000 computers out of the landfill by recycling or refurbishing; and

    WHEREAS,  ComputerCorpsä has been able to accomplish tills in a fiscally responsible manner and with a totally volunteer staff.

    NOW, THEREFORE. I RAY MASAYKO. MAYOR OF CARSON CITY, NEVADA. do hereby issue this Proclamation of Appreciation to ComputerCorpsä for the service they have provided the community and urge all citizens of Carson City to explore the opportunities available to them at ComputerCorpsä.
